safety

trust is the
foundation of a
real network.

bottlr works because collectors and hosts can trust each other — and trust that the platform has their back when something goes wrong.

how we maintain trust.

accurate posting

Hosts are expected to post accurate bottle counts, locations, and pickup windows. Persistent inaccuracies result in posting restrictions. Collectors' time is real time.

photo verification

Every pickup requires a photo submission at completion. This protects both sides — collectors get proof of work done, hosts get a record of pickup.

respectful communication

The bottlr network is built on direct, professional communication between collectors and hosts. Harassment or disrespectful conduct results in account suspension.

job locking integrity

Once a job is claimed, it's locked. Abandoning claimed jobs without notice is a network violation. Collectors and hosts both depend on commitments being kept.

personal safety first

Collectors should never proceed with a pickup that feels unsafe. You can cancel a claimed job without penalty if the situation at pickup is not as posted.

data protection

Collector and host personal information is not shared beyond what's necessary to complete a pickup. See our privacy policy for full details.

something went wrong?

We take safety concerns seriously and investigate every report. Use the contact form to flag safety issues, posting violations, or conduct concerns — include clear context and we'll follow up within 24 hours.
